Terms of Service

1. The service
PII Monitor searches public web sources (search engines, data-broker sites, breach databases) for personal information you ask us to monitor, and alerts you to new findings. We provide opt-out guidance and re-check removal requests, but we cannot guarantee that any third-party site will remove your data.
2. Acceptable use
- Only monitor your own personal information, or information of someone who has given you explicit permission.
- Do not use the service to stalk, harass, dox, or build profiles on other people.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it, or access other users' data.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. You must provide a valid email address.
4. Subscription & billing
- The free tier includes one full scan and up to 3 monitored PII entries.
- The Pro subscription (€5/year) adds daily automatic scans, unlimited PII entries, and watchlist monitoring.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew annually until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from the Billing tab — access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law (EU consumers: 14-day withdrawal right, contact us).
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". Search results come from third parties and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that all exposures of your data will be found, or that removal requests will succeed.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions taken by third-party sites. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
